After leaving Colorado in 1981, he relocated to Monterey, California to purchase and operate a Construction Company located on the Monterey Peninsula.  In 2010 through 2013 he worked with projects and issues related to Hurricane Katrina.
Norm and his companion, Juliet Weller live in Ft Collins. He has two children:  Brandon, age 41 who resides in Monterey and daughter, Laurie, age 36 who lives in Wilmington, North Carolina.
Outdoor activities, such as skiing, hiking, camping, golfing, biking, bird hunting and fly fishing and spending time in the mountains are major reasons Norm returned to Colorado.
He has been a Rotary member for more than 30 years. Rotary provides financial support for a multitude of programs and activities in every community, worldwide.  Another  tremendous benefit to being a Rotarian  is the camaraderie, friendship and support you receive from fellow members. Being an active member and contributor to organizations like Rotary is the “rent that we have the privilege to “pay” to live in a community”.  ROTARY IS THE BEST!!!!!
