Leslie has been a language teacher for 14 years, teaching Spanish to kiddos. She was a Rotary exchange student to Barcelona 37 years ago which led her to interest in Spanish; It showed the impact of Rotary and the lifelong trajectory it put Leslie on. She was so grateful for the acknowledgement.

Student of the Month (SoM) – Ron C introduced Robert – Centennial trades and PE teacher. Robert shared the consistency, work ethic, leader, that Maurice is. Maurice is punctual and trustworthy and Robert would hire him in a heartbeat.
Maurice began by thanking the Centennial staff and Rotary for the recognition. He shared that Centennial has made him a better student and person. He wasn’t on the best path – he had lost hope in himself. His grandparents were important to his getting on the right trajectory. With the support of the Centennial teachers and staff - he is excited now for next steps after high school.

There are 2 ways to participate – as a Community Supporter (materials and kickoff on 4/10) and the sale of Medallions that will be placed on the flags during the weekend (materials and kickoff on 4/17). Stay tuned!
