International Service
Fort Collins Breakfast Rotary members are people of action who use their passion, energy, intelligence and resources to take action on sustainable projects. Together, we work to better our world, and we stay committed to the end.A portion of all Club fundraisers goes toward international projects where we can create lasting impact. Our Club's International Service Committee meets every other month to discuss projects undertaken by the Club as well as learn about potential projects.
Here are just some of the Projects that have received funding from our Club include the following:
- Toileton WASH in El Salvador
- Reforestration and water management in Brazil
- Library in kGambia
- Hospitalito Atitlan in Guatemala
- Rotary Blood Center in India
- Smokeless cooking stoves in India
- Latrines in Cambodia
- Wood-burning stoves in Ukraine
- Divine Mercy School in Ukraine
Funds provided to international projects are leveraged thanks to assistance from District and Rotary International. Recently we donated $33,000 to these projects but were able to get other clubs involved with them and ultimately this amount greww to over $660,000 and benefited slose to 127,000 people!
