“While I was teaching, I would invite Rotary into my classroom to teach the 4-way decision making principles to my middle schoolers.  I was always impressed with their positive and friendly attitudes. Later in my career I was honored as a Rotary Teacher of the Month. This last fall I was invited to a Rotary fundraising event by my friend Dick Griffith who encouraged me to join. When I attended my first Rotary Breakfast Club, I met the most amazing people who were all welcoming, friendly and interesting!  Then I discovered the true purpose and dedication of Rotary through all of the many service opportunities they sponsor.  This is when I decided that I wanted to volunteer my energy and time to become a part of such a wonderful, world changing organization.”
